Casa Shiva Bacalar By Mij Bed & Breakfast offers an interesting mix of ambiance and amenities that is hard to overlook. My stay allowed me to appreciate its prime location—nestled right by the lagoon. Free kayaks made for some nice adventures, and having access to a cozy common area with hammocks created a chill spot to unwind after a day of exploring. That said, the glamping option left much to be desired. The shared bathroom setup felt less luxurious and more like a compromise. The cleanliness and friendly staff were commendable. With air conditioning in the room and decent breakfast included, the value proposition isn’t entirely lost. For budget-conscious travelers, this might provide a good experience overall, especially if you're looking for a fun getaway without breaking the bank.
